Philippe 💜 I spent way too much time as a teen reading French historical romances and had the biggest crush on the romanticised version of Louis XIV. And yet, when this show came around, I only kept watching for his brother. Louis XIV was so unlikable, selfish, self-serving and self-absorbed. He alternated between filling me with disgust and boring me to tears. But Alexander Vlahos was perfection as Philippe! Also, he brings a whole new meaning to the word beauty in this role, holy fuck, he is unreal 💜
